Hi,

On Tuesday, the STEM project passed both Release and Graduation reviews (slides here) and the Eclipse Foundation approved a legal release for STEM version 1.0.0.

In final preparation for the 1.0.0 release, we have issued a preliminary release build we're calling the release candidate. You can download the build from here:

http://www.eclipse.org/stem/downloads.php

Please make a final pass-through of your models/scenarios and report any bugs that you feel are blocking for release. Right now, there are no known bugs that block.

If nothing major is reported, we will take the release candidate as our 1.0.0 release in approximately a week.

Also, to make it easier to identify release candidate bugs, please prefix the title of the bug in bugzilla with "RC1", "RC2", etc.

Thanks!
