Hi.

How to map association to a link in gmfmap model?
Setting

Containment Feature EReferencepackagedElement
Element EClass Association
Source Feature EReference relatedElement
Target Feature EReference relatedElement

doesn't work (link immediately disappears).

wbr, eugen.

Eugen,

I'm not a GMF expert (you may want to consult the eclipse.modeling.gmf
newsgroup), but the features you've referenced are derived unions and hence
read-only (they can't be modified). Unlike other relationships in UML (which
connect the related elements directly), associations actually connect
properties (referenced via Association::memberEnd) that are (possibly) owned
by the end types involved in the relationship...

hello
in the newsgroup archive on the web
http://www.eclipse.org/search/search.cgi?&cmd=Search%21& amp;form=extended&wf=574a74&ps=10&m=all&t=5& amp;ul=%2Fnewslists%2Fnews.eclipse.technology.gmf&wm=wrd &t=News&t=Mail
you can find a lot of information on how to map UML association
searching for *association*.

michele
