Hi,

I'm new to this forum, hope this is the right place to be posting this.

I'm having a problem with the cxxTest plugin for eclipse. I install it and I can write test functions and get the runner to create a test harness.

The problems come when I attempt to generate stack traces for test failures and memory leaks. This option is in the Window->Preferences->cxxtest tab.

I click this on to get the test to run and trace the output but eclipse shows this message:

Quote:
"Looking for required cxxTest dependencies"

then
Quote:

"In order to support retreiving stack traces when failures occur in cxxtest unit tests, the following dependencies need to be intalled on youtr system:

* The following linker libraries are missing: libbfd, libintl, libiberty

Stack traces will be disabled in any projects that you create. Once you have satisfied these requirements, you can re-enable this feature in your eclipse preferences."

How do I 'Satisfy these requirements' ?

Thanks,

Chris.

Did you ever figure this out? Please share the solution if you did.

The cxxTest stuff seems to originate at web-cat.org.
<http://web-cat.org/WCWiki/EclipsePlugins/CxxTestPlugin>

It is definitely not related to TPTP.

Maybe the bugtracker of WEB-CAT ist the right place to go:
<http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=142064&atid=754973>

Hope this helps (a bit),

Heiner
