Have you followed all the instructions in the getting_started guide.
Specifically:

* Add the <unzip directory>/lib directory to the system's LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environment variable.
* Add the <unzip directory>/bin directory to the system's PATH environment
variable.

Do a echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
echo $PATH to make sure.

I installed Mandrake package libstdc++2.10-2.96-0.83mdk.i586.rpm which
contains the missing library.
