This position is for a Senior Software engineer working on our Eclipse based CodeWarrior C/C++ IDE development tools.    In this position, you will be required to take a lead role in  the area of Eclipse UI (SWT/JFace) development on Trace & Profiling support in our tools for our PPC, ARM and StarCore based product lines.  This will entail writing lots of new code in Java and C++,  consulting with other lead engineers, mentoring of more junior engineers on Eclipse SWT/JFace,  the Eclipse UI guidelines and improving the usability of some of our UI.  You must be comfortable in an Agile/Scrum development environment and have a good grasp of design patterns.  You should be very proficient in Java and C++ (since a lot of our non UI code is in modern C++), and especially these language's more modern features.   Strong experience with Eclipse UI development using SWT,  a component base framework (like COM, Corba) and XML.  Any experience with data driven UI frameworks, like XUL or XWT would by a plus.  Any experience working on any Eclipse.org projects would also be a plus.
