Hi all,
I'm not able to execute the nightly build in Eclipse Galileo. The latest build I'm able to run is the M3 located in http://topcased-mm.gforge.enseeiht.fr/mdt-papyrus/.

Therefore I've a couple of questions:

- Are there any new requirement since the M3 (new releases of Acceleo and EEF)?
- Is the a different way to install it apart from extracting the files of the build into the Eclipse directory?
- And finally, what are the relations between the milestones and the nightly builds?

Thank you very much,
regards,
Alessandro Zovi

Hello Alessandro,

I tested and succeed in installing the latest build from the nigthly
build (Papyrus-SDK-N201001150632.zip).
( https://build.eclipse.org/hudson/job/cbi-papyrus-0.7-nightly /lastSuccessfulBuild/)

- There are not new requirement since M3 (maybe EPF for a new rich text
editor see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=288250)

- The installation is made through p2. You shouldn't have to extract the
files into the Eclipse directory (old way to install plug-in, change
since eclipse 3.4). Have you read the installation guide delivered with
the M3 ?

- Everything is explained here
http://www.eclipse.org/projects/dev_process/development_proc ess.php#6_4_Releases

Hope it helps,

Thibault

Thanks for the help.
I've read the installation guide of M3 and I forget to install it the new way(I'm relatively new to Eclipse), sorry!

Anyway, at least for now I've managed to run the build from svn. I'll try again from the nightly build system.

For what concern my last question, I was too vague. I'd like to know if the project plan regarding milestones is still valid or there are some changes (in particular referring to the one I've found in http://www.slideshare.net/kenn.hussey/papyrus-advent-of-an-o pen-source-ime-at-eclipse).
