Hi,

In my old RCP applications i've used an update script to look for new features and updated features (comparing version numbers) for my product on a remote site; this script doesn't need user interaction and confirmation (
If any updates are available you can't start these applications if you don't update them first).
I wonder if i can obtain tha same behaviour with new P2 provisioning system, in last days i've successful obtained (it wasn't easy) a rcp application with headless updating on startup, besides my product is composed of independently updatable feratures.
To obtain this i've followed these tutorials:
http://www.ralfebert.de/blog/eclipsercp/p2_updates_tutorial/ , http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox/p2/Adding_Self-Update_to_an_ RCP_Application, http://aniefer.blogspot.com/2009/07/composing-and-updating-c ustom-eclipse.html and http://www.vogella.de/articles/EclipsePDEBuild/article.html# productbuild_project.

How can i install new features on startup in the same headless way i'm able to update installed features ?
Thanks.

Mirko
