I just installed a fresh copy of PDT using Eclipse Classic 3.5
(following the instructions on this page:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDT/Installation#Eclipse_3.5_.2F_Gal ileo_.2F_PDT_2.2).
After getting everything up-and-running and recreating my PHP project
from scratch, I was surprised to find the syntax highlighting of PDT has
changed to be nearly identical to that of the PHPEclipse project!

I have to be honest, I found PDT's original syntax highlighting to be
much better, clearer, and even more appealing to the eye. Is there a
simple way to revert this back, or what else can I do?

For the time being, I just changed the color scheme back to the
2.1-styling. I guess with 2.2, there are quite a few new highlightable
elements, but I am not sure why the particular colorings were chosen.

For those that are curious, I basically loaded my older copy of Eclipse
with PDT 2.1 and manually changed each syntax coloring element to the
same value as in 2.1, copy-and-pasting the hex color code.
