Nested tasks not being marked as Read properly? [message #504960] Wed, 23 December 2009 14:34 Go to next message

Hi there...

I just noticed this week an issue where if there are nested tasks in the
Mylyn Task List, such as with Bugzilla entries dependent on each other,
the deeper tasks are not marked as "Read" when you do "Mark as Read" at
the top level. This is on RHEL, I haven't tried it on Windows.

Is this a known issue? Or should I go ahead and create a bug for it?

Thanks

It's a intentional that subtasks are not getting marked as read by default
but I agree that this can be confusing and cumbersome particularly with
deeply nested hierarchies. Please consider voting and commenting on this
bug:

256049: mark as read on parent task should mark subtasks read

Thanks Steffen... I'll add my $0.02 to the bugzilla.
