Hello,

I am new to TPTP and have some questions:

How can i trace/monitor methods in a specific time-period, e.g. with a startpoint and endpoint? For example: I want to start my application, "click a bit around" and then I want to start the profiler/tracer for a certain period of time in order to trace only some specific methods and not the whole application.

If this is not possible: What would be the best way to implement a function like this?

Hi,

In the launch configuration, under Monitor tab and option (Edit Option
button) of an Java profiler, you can disable the Auto Monitoring option such
that the application under profiled will be launched without being
monitored, and when it is time to start data collection, you can use the
'Start Monitoring' button in the toolbar of Profiling Monitor view to start
collecting, Pause Monitoring button to pause data collection when needed.
