Jazz,
it is possible to develop your own maps. Currently, it requires one to
supply lat/long data for inclusion in a "geography" plugin. The format is
GML. Each node in a STEM graph has Dublin Core Metadata, the "spatial"
attribute of the metadata is used to contain a URI that points to the
appropriate GML file for that node.
