Paul,

It's best to ask on the UML2 Tools newsgroup, which I've added to the
"to" list of the reply.

Further to the difficulties using a profile described below, I have been
successful in getting the context menu for a class to show the 'Apply
Template' menu item, which when selected offers me the option to apply a
stereo type from the profile I created, but having done so there is no
change to the class that I'm trying to apply it to....
Any suggestions or clues as to what to check or pointer to working
examples of creating and applying a profile with the current release much
appreciated.
rgds,

Paul

Hi Paul,

'Apply profile' action works fine on my platform, and judging by other messages in the forum, it works fine on other people's computers too.
Let's figure out what could happen on your machine.

1) Many people forget to Apply needed Profile first.
When you apply 'Standard' profile do you see 'Apply Stereotype' action? 'Standard' profile is available on any diagram by default.

2) What is in your error log when you open a context menu?

3) You mentioned Papyrus in your message. Do you use UML2Tools or Papyrus?

Tanya.
