Hi,

at the Eclipse Summit next week I'm hosting a symposium called
Foundation 2.0. The Eclipse Foundation has quite a few challenges, e.g.
the decline in sponsors, the slowing down of innovation. Some member
companies simply need to save money, others can't really see the benefit
of being a member. I think that the foundation must change itself to be
attractive for members in the future, and to be able to aquire resources
that can be spent on great projects.

This symposium is intended as a meeting point for constructive criticism
and new ideas. It's not going to be foundation bashing or a revolution.

I would like to invite you to this session on Tuesday late afternoon:

In case you won't attend the Eclipse Summit, I would be glad to receive
feedback from you by mail. I will then include your points in the
discussion at the summit. I plan to summarize the outcome of the
symposium after the summit.

Kind regards,

Frank.
