Did a clean install of Eclipse 3.5 + Subversive (had been using Eclipse
3.4 + Subversive without problems before). Now I'm having two problems:

1. If I use the "SVN Kit (SVN/1.6.2 SVNKit/1.3.0)" connector, new
resources that were added to a repository are not picked up when
synchronizing.

2. Can't select the "Native JavaHL" connector: "Native JavaHL
(0x00100000): Cannot load libraries: C:\Program
Files\Eclipse\plugins\org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connecto r.javahl16.win32_2.2.1.I20090708-1500\libaprutil-1.dll:
Can't find dependent libraries)"

I have the latest versions of all connectors etc installed...

For the time being I'll just use this description:

http://subclipse.tigris.org/install.html

:-)

Hi Eric,

subclipse and subversive are different approaches to svn . I believe
using a installation guide for subclipse will not work if you want to
setup subversive.

Best regards, Lars

Well, after wasting too much time and not hearing about a solution to the
problem posted here, I decided I no longer wanted to setup Subversive...

Subclipse appears to be working fine with both JavaHL and SVNKit; not sure
what cased Subversive to break (I'm assuming it's still working fine for
others).

Just revisited Subversive after I had problems like this one almost one
year ago - seems the problems are still the same, sadly.

I get the exact same error on a fresh 3.5 install on Win32 (Vista SP2)
Galileo JEE, installed according to howto and also looked at Lars' article.

There is some dependency on libapr that is simply not fulfilled by any of
the plugins.

When installing the 1.5-version (NativeWin32 1.5 + JavaHL 1.5), it works,
but not with 1.6.

Note: Native JavaHL 1.6 has been working fine for me on 3.5 until a couple
of days ago when I auto-updated to 2.2.1.I20090708-1500. Now I get this
error. I have seen some posts that suggest that having both 1.5 and 1.6
installed concurrently can cause similar problems, but this is not the
case for me.

I am going to try and back out that update.

Grr. It seems that the old version is no longer available from the update
site. Changed to Native JavaHL 1.5 and it works fine now (although I had
to blow away my existing working copy and recheck out). Suggest there
might be a problem with the 1.6 version.

Hello,

1. Problem with SVN Kit
You can fire a bug on Bugzilla with detailed steps how to reproduce the
problem.

2. Problem with JavaHL:
You don't need to install several JavaHL connectors simultaneously, only one
of them should be installed.
JavaHL connector consists of two parts: native implementation and Win32
binaries, e.g. Native JavaHL 1.6 Implementation and JavaHL 1.6.0 Win32
binaries, please be sure that you installed both.

For more details how to install Subversive, please visit its download page:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/downloads.php.
Also note that starting from version 0.7.8.I20090808-1900 you can install
connectors from Connector Discovery feature:
http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/teamSupport/ connectors_discovery.php
