The New Technology Agent Controller is now available with Eclipse TPTP 4.1
release. As a proof of concept, we have migrated the current Perfmon Agent
and Statistical View to use the New Technology Agent Controller. The
migrated Perfmon Agent fully uses the following new technology components.

1. TPTP Platform New Execution Java API
2. New Agent Controller
3. Base Agent Framework C++ API

We found that migration of Perfmon Agent to the new technology is straight
forward and needed only minimal changes (few files on the client and agent
side to convert it to use new API) to the existing Perfmon Agent code base.
The migrated Perfmon Agent zip file (PerfmonPluginForAC.zip) that includes
the modified client side plug-ins along with source code is available as
part of
the New Technology Agent Controller - "Eclipse Feature Plug-In" (link below)
download.
It contains a ReadMe file (ReadMe-Perfmon.html) with instructions to install
the New Technology
Agent Controller, import and run the modified perfmon plug-ins in Eclipse
runtime workbench.
A more detailed guidelines for migrating agents to New Technology Agent
Controller
will be available soon.

Please contact Randy or me if you need any information about Perfmon Agent
migration sample.

Thanks
