Hello,

is there a way to disable realtime PHP syntax checking?

It really slows down very powerful PC, so editing files became horrible
expereince.

Hi,

I don't this the slowness you experience is due to the syntax checking. Did you try new PDT 2.2?

Thanks,
Michael

I'm also seeing barely usable, slow editing/keystrokes (0.7 sec+ to register a keypress) in PHP files < 3000K lines, on a P4 3.2HT with plenty of RAM (i.e. not a slow box) and Linux 2.6.31, Eclipse Platform 3.5.1, JRE 1.5.0_20-b02.

I am using PDT 2.1.1. Is pre-release 2.2 supposed to be faster?
