Hi,
on a rather fresh install of Eclipse 3.4.2 the Export Wizard fails
consistently.

I get a dialog box: Error - Reason: problems during export
and the detail message is this:

Problems during export

C:\dev\eclipse-3.4.2\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclips e.pde.core\temp\org.eclipse.pde.container.feature\assemble.o rg.eclipse.pde.container.feature.win32.win32.x86.xml:80:
required attribute propertyName not set
required attribute propertyName not set

C:\dev\eclipse-3.4.2\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclips e.pde.core\temp\org.eclipse.pde.container.feature\assemble.o rg.eclipse.pde.container.feature.win32.win32.x86.xml:80:
required attribute propertyName not set
required attribute propertyName not set

I get this error even with the SampleView plugin.

Does anyone have an idea what might cause this behaviour?

Thanks.

Christian

Do you get anymore information from the log file that is produced by the
export operation? What's your target platform set in Eclipse 3.4.2? Are
you exporting just a plug-in or a product maybe?

I'm trying to export a plug-in. Where would I find that log file?
The folder mentioned in the error message is empty after the failed export.

But there is some good news. After switching to a new (empty) workspace and
importing the plugi-in project the export works? Oh well....

Thanks.

Christian
