Hi all,
I'd like to profile a J2EE application running on a JBoss application
server.
I'm having problems starting the Agent Controller.
My config is :
Server Linux RedHat 9.0
Java 1.5.0_05
JBoss 3.2.7
RAServer 4.1.0.0
I start JBoss using the following command line :
/usr/local/jdk/bin/java -classic -Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE
-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend= n -server
-Xms256m -Xmx824m -XrunpiAgent:server=enabled -Xdebug
-Dprogram.name=run.sh ... etc ...
Before launching RAServer, all is OK.
When I run ./RAStart.sh I get the message :
Starting Agent Controller
RAServer started successfully
But this make JBoss crash without any error message.
If I restart JBoss, I can begin profiling.
Any idea on how to solve this problem ?
Regards

The Agent Controller has to be started before you can register any agents
with it. Try starting the Agent Controller first and then running JBoss
under enabled mode.
