Hi,

Just downloaded E4 0.9 (Running on XP SP3) all-in.

E4 starts just fine, but several menu entries are duplicated preference
does not work etc so
there must be someting very wrong with my installation. I tryed to find some
answers in the readme and new and northworty, but with no luck

Any ideas what to do?

You want http://www.eclipse.org/e4/development/readme/readme_e4_0.9.h tml

The e4 SDK is a technical preview. Some main usecases have been tested (checking e4 out of CVS, editing and committing changes, running the e4 legacy product and the e4 demo apps).

But those are main usecases. Many usecases that have not been tested don't work.

Hi all,

Well something was fishy! Actually my E4 installation looked so bad that I
could not dream of even calling it a preview, so
I deleted it and downloaded the 0.9 again but this time from the 'master'
Eclipse site. And hey presto - this new 0.9 installation behaves like
expected.
Not perfect - but really cool.
