Hi,

I understand that the OHF project is moving away from the EF, but that
the SODA sub-project is moving over to eclipse.rt. I am just been
looking at SAT for inclusion in the ORMF project
<http://www.eclipse.org/ormf/> and I am wondering if it will be
actively maintained and supported after the moves. It looks like very
nice technology and I would love to use it, but if the support is going
I have considerations.

All the best,
Joel

Hi Joel

Yes, SAT will be maintained. There is work being done to move SODA to a
new home... SAT will become an additional set of bundles in the Equinox
RT project.

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon/All,

Interesting news, what does it mean, OHF is moving away?
Will some of the projects be hosted elsewhere, or have they found too
little response from the industry/community and are therefore retired?

I now understand partly why the OHF meets OHA proposal I made for ESE
next month was not appreciated by the EC, but as I also tried to get
some other locally quite successful Healthcare Eclipse projects in touch
and using OHF, I certainly am interested to know which standards to rely
on here and which may dissolve or move elsewhere?

A simple refactoring of certain parts like SAT does not sound too
tragic. We've seen that with Mylyn. And while I found some more
concerning issues about that the other day, as such it has been very
successful, even more after moving :-)
