Remove XSD manually to Rinstall [message #48921] Tue, 13 July 2004 14:25 Go to next message

Hi,
Using Eclipse 3.0.0
I had some problems with emf and XSD 2.0 installation
I could remove EMF manually to reinstall it ,
but I couldn't do the same with XSD (and the 2 other xml files).

XSD is complaning for this :
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.edit" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.editor" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.test" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.emf.mapping.xsd2ecore" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.emf.mapping.xsd2ecore.editor" included at runtime.

Can you give me a hint?

Best regards, MH

I'm not sure what manual steps you've taken, but it sounds like maybe
the XSD plugins are simply missing.

Maybe removing the eclipse/configuration directory will help. Or doing
a scratch install of everything...

I'm not sure what the clean flag does, but removing the configuration
directory should just clean up cached plugin installation information
that may not be up to date.

Maybe removing the eclipse/configuration directory will help. Or doing

I'm not sure what the clean flag does, but removing the configuration
directory should just clean up cached plugin installation information
that may not be up to date.

Using Eclipse 3.0.0
I had some problems with emf and XSD 2.0 installation
I could remove EMF manually to reinstall it ,

No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.edit" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.editor" included at runtime.
No plug-in: "org.eclipse.xsd.test" included at runtime.
