Is there any way to use the default Eclipse text editor with vim
navigation bindings? I had gvim working inside Eclipse, but that wasn't
really to my liking.

Depo,

I've been using vi plugin for years. It's really good.

That's one I tried, but it broke both my vim and eclipse!

It took me awhile, but finally got it working and it was basically vim
inside eclipse. So, that is good for the key bindings, but you still get
gvims "ugly" style and doesn't integrate well (no auto complete, java
docs, etc)

Not sure what you mean by "my vim". It only installs into Eclipse...

It basically turns all the editors in Eclipse into ones that respect vi
key bindings, including all the modal stuff of course.

Not sure what you refer to?

But it does... Ctrl-space does nothing in vi so in the Java editor it
does the name completion thing. F3 navigation works too. So basically
all the usual stuff works and so does vi...
