Port reset after restart eclipse [message #48657] Tue, 07 July 2009 15:57 Go to next message

Hi

My private svn server listen to another port than 22 for ssh. When I
change the port in the tab "SSH Settings" from 22 to 2222 it works. But
when I restart eclipse port 22 is again filled in.
Then, the error message looks like this:
Get repository folder children operation failed.
svn: Cannot connect to 'svn+ssh://myServer': There was a problem while
connecting to myServer:22

Steps to reproduce:
- Right click a Repository Location in view SVN Repositories
- Location Properties...
- Tab SSH Settings
- Change Port to 2222, ok.
- eclipse is connected to the repo
- restart eclipse
- the port is reset to 22

This is the scenario for:
eclipse 3.5
svnKit 1.3.0-beta (r5741)
subversion 1.6.2

Is there an other way to change the port in eclipse svn?

thanks
stephan

Hello Stephan,

There's already a relative bug in tracker:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249074, so I added you
comments there. Thanks a lot.
