Hi Frank,

This is a use case not yet covered by XDS. There is a whitepaper by IHE
coming out that covers some of these life-cycle issues:

You can find the latest draft on the IHE FTP site:

It should be out for public comment shortly -- and feeback from vendors
is highly encouraged.
