Hello,

I saw that it is possible to set associations between stereotypes. In
what cases is this advisable? I read a similar post in the archive of
the old uml2 newsgroup but did not find an answer to this point.

Any explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,
Axel Reichwein

Hi Axel,

Associations between stereotypes are really only supported if the
stereotypes are within the same profile.
The only concerns you have to watch out for are migration issues that
involve re-defining the profile. There have been some recent changes to
the 2.2.1 stream to handle migration issues.
There are no other *known* restrictions on associations between stereotypes.

Let me know if you experience any issues.

Cheers,
- James.
