Hi, Fatma,

Do you really need a heavy weight extension? A plain old profile is not a
good solution for you?

Hi César,

Thank you for your response,

I haven't no idea about these profiles and How can I used it to extend UML
meta model. Please have you any example.

I want to know also if I can generate a new diagram editor from this
profil.

Hi, Fatma,

Maybe you want to begin with this article:

http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/uml2/docs/articles/Intro duction_to_UML2_Profiles/article.html

Anyway, a UML profile is also UML, so you can use the usual UML diagrams
to edit and use them.
