Hello,
when I create a Association in the Classdiagram, the properties are
stored under the Association. This means that both ends are not
navigable and so the Association is somehow useless.
I changed that for my purpose but I wanted to ask whether this behavior
is intentional?
Best regards
Peter

Peter,

Ends owned by the association can still be navigable. See
'navigableOwnedEnds':

http://help.eclipse.org/stable/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. uml2.doc/references/javadoc/org/eclipse/uml2/uml/Association .html

'navigableOwnedEnds' subsets 'ownedEnds' which subsets 'memberEnds'.
