Hi all,

i just want to start to investigate the JET2 project. For that, i have
downloaded Eclipse Ganymede. But where can find the JET2 project? On the
Ganymede update site, I only found the JET-Plugin (Incubtaion - version
1.9.0) for the installation. Is the this the XPath-like JET-plugin?

Thx
Timothy

Timothy,

It's 0.9.0 I believe. And yes, that's the one for JET2 with the xpath
support.

Timothy:

Thanks for your interest in JET/JET2. I'm off on vacation for a week, so I
thought I'd send some links that you might find useful.

JET FAQ: http://wiki.eclipse.org/M2T-JET-FAQ

In particular, this page has links to some articles/further reading:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/JET_FAQ_What_learning_resources_are_ available_for_JET%3F

Also, you can see some real JET transformations in the Eclipse CVS
repository. These are all Eclipse projects, so you can check them out with
the Eclipse CVS client:

JET transformation backing the new JET Project wizard:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.m2t/org .eclipse.jet/transforms/org.eclipse.jet.transforms.newprojec t/?root=Modeling_Project

JET transformation for generating JET's tag library documentation from a
plugin.xml:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.m2t/org .eclipse.jet/transforms/org.eclipse.jet.transforms.taglibdoc /?root=Modeling_Project

JET transformation for building SWT wizard pages from a XML document (demo'd
at EclipseCon):
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.m2t/org .eclipse.jet/examples/org.eclipse.jet.ec2008.swtgen.codebehi nd/?root=Modeling_Project

There is an XSD schema for the above transformation in this project:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.m2t/org .eclipse.jet/examples/org.eclipse.jet.examples.ec2008/?root= Modeling_Project

Hopefully, this, and the other watchers on the newsgroup will keep you busy
for the next week. I'll check on your progress/questions when I return on
the 20th.
