Hi,

I am using MDT and want to apply stereotypes I defined to an
association. This works, but the stereotype isn't displayed. Any idea
how I can make this stereotype visible?

Greetings

Mike

Hello Michael,

You applied a stereotype to an association, but its name was not dispalyed
on the diagram as a label, right?
Let's try to figure out where is a problem together.
I applied EClass stereotype from Ecore profile to an association and it worked
completely fine, the label was displayed. Is label for EClass stereotype
displayed on your machine? Ecore stereotype is stereotype from Ecore profile,
which is provided by UML2 and automatically added to the list of available
profiles.

Besides, is there any messages in you error log?

Best wishes,
Tanya.

Hello Tanya,

thanks for your help. No, also the EClass stereotype isn't displayed.
When selecting the association in the properties view it is displayed as
<<eClass>> <Association> A_src_dst. Thus, obviously the application of
the stereotype worked. But in the diagram view the stereotype isn't visible.

Greetings

Mike

Hi Mike,

As I understand, your error log is empty, is that correct?
I'm thrilled.
Could you please create simple diagram, that containes classes A and B and
an association between them. Apply EClass profile to an association and send
me both domain model and diagram files. It will allow me to know if the label
for stereotype is created or not. Depending on it we find the place where
to start debugging ;) .

Cheers,
Tanya.
