Trinidad support? Anywhere? [message #475402] Sat, 02 February 2008 18:36 Go to next message

Hi.

I began trinidad DT support plugin as a part of "how does WTP DT work?"
little investigation. In time I implemented some useful features from my
point of view (PPR references DT validation mainly). Later I thought
about creating solid trinidad support plugin and contributing it to WTP
project (or apache myfaces, didn't give it much thought though). And
here is my question: is there any reason in creating such a plugin? May
be there is another team working on something like it already?
I did some search in the Net and haven't found any mention about such a
work.

And if my work is (heh) /unique/, I'll try to revive it (job and
university helped it to become a little... stale half a year ago:) ).

Currently all i have done is:
- content assist for f:facet 'name' attribute (and appropriate
validation)
- partialTrigger references validation
- metadata for 4-5 tags from the beggining of trinidad tag list [1]
(100+ tags)
Not that much, but I think it (1 and 2 from list above) will be useful
for end user.

Thanks for everyone, who read it to the end. Cheers!

This sounds very interesting. I'd like to see what you have accomplished
so far. If we could collect enough contributions, maybe we could assemble
them into a Trinidad support plug-in to benefit all Eclipse/WTP/Trinidad
users.

Would it be possible for you to create a bugzilla entry [1], attach your
plug-in project, and let us know the bug number in this forum?

Thanks very much, Vadim.

The JSF Team is eagerly taking a look at your contribution. We'll keep the
bug updated or contact you more directly, depending on whether or not next
steps need to be in a world-wide public forum.

Are there any other Trinidad support efforts underway out there?
