Hi,
Could you please tell me if there is an _open_source_ plug-in that
imports .java files as a UML model.
I tried to check previous threads, and I noticed that there is such a
plug-in for Java jar files (Jar2UML), which makes me believe there is a
tool for reverse engineering a class diagram from .java source files
(which, of course, are not previously annotated for creating a model).
By searching Google I found that there are commercial plug-ins, even a
free EclipseUML by Omondo Corp., but it's not open source and requires
old versions of Eclipse, EMF and GEF.
Thank you in advance,

Hi,
You can use the Java Extension of the Topcased UML Modeler
(http://gforge.enseeiht.fr/frs/?group_id=34).
It's easy to use : you just right-click on a Java Project and then you
have an action "UML Model from Java" that creates a .uml file.
