Greetings all! I have a couple questions about using cheat sheets in a
TrayDialog. I have been successful at opening the desired cheat sheets
using OpenCheatSheetAction, but have found myself in a bit of a quandary.
The cheat sheets are supposed to be used as a way of guiding the user
through a series of steps using an editor (the viewer on the left side
of the TrayDialog), and should remain open throughout the entire
process. The user progresses from step to step, each time the editor
responding to each step by changing its "mode" slightly. I understand to
do this I would need a cheat sheet listener. However, the following
questions exist:
1) How do I listen, in the dialog, to events made by the cheat sheets?
2) How do I prevent the cheat sheet tray from closing?
3) How do I prevent the user from moving back and forth through the
cheat sheets (in other words, the sequence is preserved)?
4) How do I force the cheat sheet to start from the beginning again in a
composite cheat sheet? (since every time the dialog is opened and the
cheat sheet is added to the tray, it restores the last state) I
understand that it has to do with the CheatSheetStateManager class, but
how do I attach a new state manager if those classes are internal?)
(this functionality is similar to pressing the "Reset All" in the
context menu, but without the prompt)
I know that these are loaded questions, so please bare with me. Thank
you for your time!
