Extending UML model properties [message #473298] Thu, 07 February 2008 07:56

How would you best go about extending some of the model data and viewers
associated with a UML model?

For example, if you click on any model element and go to the Properties
view, there is the free format "Documentation" tab (corresponds to a
UML:Comment type in XMI export).

I would like to override this tab with a more structured documentation
form e.g. a list of value-pairs.

From my initial research it looks like I have to work with
org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.emf.type.core.ElementType?

Are there any examples of this idea?

Thanks
