I can't find info in the release notes whether 4.0.1's java profiler will
work with Java 5.0 - is that the case? anyone know the compatibility of
different releases with different java versions?

TPTP doesn't officially support Java 5.0 for TPTP 4.0.1, but I've
personally used the Java Profiler in 4.0.1 with Java 5.0 and I didn't have
any problems. Java 5.0 will most likely be supported in TPTP 4.2.
