How to use UML2 Diagram to build EMF? [message #472346]

Hi all,

I use Eclipse Europa. We know one can build EMF Model using annotated
Java. But one can also build EMF MOdel using XML-model. So I try to use
the Eclipse UML2 diagram to build the class diagram. But as try to build
the data model, the editor based on this UML-diagram, it dosen't work.

Dose someone know how to handle it?

Hi,

You can use Ecore Tools
http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/?project=ecoretools#eco retools
It provides a graphical editor to create your ecore models.

I downloaded the example fo ra try. But as I try to open the file
"Ecore.ecorediag" I got error as follow:
Error opening the editor.
org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.notation.impl.NodeImpl

What should I need else?
