Hi,

I have posted the RC2 milestone build. You can download it from this
link: http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jsf/dev_resource/index.html

The main feature in this build is the integration between the Faces Config
Editor and the Faces Config EMF model. Please download and exercise this
feature and log any issues you notice. This component is feature complete
for the WTP 1.5 release and we will be focusing on fixing bugs. We will
provide a basic tutorial on the various functionalities in the Editor.
Some of the features in the JSP Editor that were showcased in the M5 build
are not available in this build as they are being re-tooled into a proper
framework.

Thanks

Hi,

Is EL syntax validator available in this build ? It not works for me
(say "userBean cannot be resolved") for existing bean, properly
configured in faces-config.xml.

The EL validation may be a little flaky in this build. One thing you can
try is to do a "Run Validation" action from the Project right-click menu.
This may fix up the problem you are seeing.

If not, could you post a bug to Bugzilla with an example of a project that
causes the problem you are seeing?

Thanks

Cameron

Hello

Are there plans for adding JSF Tools project to main 'Callisto' update
site so features/plugins may be installed using Update Manager?
I think it will be very useful for users.

Thanks in advance,
Tomek

Hi,

The JSF Tools Project is incubating under the Web Tools Platform (WTP)
project. It is not part of the Callisto release and hence will not be
available from the Callisto Update site. However, we have plans of making
it available from the WTP Update site.

Thanks

This will work.
On first install from Callisto update manager site user will be able to
install WebTools and then, in second 'round' WTP update site is being
available as one of possibilities :)

Thanks for answer and regards,
Tomek
