How to create atl file from amw [message #469868]

Hi

I am new to AMW.I wanted to create atl file to do xmi to xmi
transformation.
Basically i have x.ecore and y.ecore .

out put of x.ecore is x.xmi.so i want to transform x.xmi to y.xmi.

I have created a weaving wizard with has prop as
mmw_match.km3,mmw_propagation.km3,mmw_compare.km3,mw_base_ex tension.km3.

From this i am able to create a weaving model(.amw file).Now from this amw
file i want to generate an atl file .

in this the have mentioned the following

Generating and extracting the ATL transformation
------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------
The AMW plug-in contains a higher-order transformation (HOT) that
interprets the weaving model and that produces an ATL transformation. To
execute this transformation, open the context menu of the weaving panel
(the middle panel) and select the "Transform" submenu. Then click on
"Generate transformation (HOT)". This action produces an ATL model
(ScadeCmp_cp_equal_thres_lr_hot.ecore).
The output transformation model is extracted to an ATL file by clicking in
the context menu "Extract ATL-0.2 model to ATL-0.2 file
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------

but i'm not able to find the transform submenu .weaving panel have only
option called "Save weaving metamodel in Ecore format".even i have tried
to save in ecore format but after that how to proceed to get an atl file.

can you please help me.

Hi,

This menu is available in the
org.eclipse.gmt.weaver.transformation.extension extension.

Do you have it installed?

Hi,
I have the same problem but I have the org.eclipse.gmt.weaver.transformation.extension installed.
So how can I have the match and transform icons!

The transformation menu is available only if have installed the plugins "org.eclipse.gmt.weaver.transformation" and "org.eclipse.gmt.weaver.transformation.extension".

Is that the case?
