Hello,

While creating a wrapper class for MOFScript I detected that when the
java() function is called inside a transformation for a non-static class,
the tool allocates some memory for the instance of the called class which
is never freed!! The Windows process manager shows this memory growth of
the eclipse.exe process.

Regards,

Adrian

Hello again,

I modified my class to make all the methods static and I get the same
memory effect.

Best regards,

Adrián

Hello Adrian,

Some updates have been made in the latest version 1.3.3, that hopefully
fixes the problem.

Cheers,

Hi Goran,

I already downloaded the new MOFScript version and started trying it;
however the memory growth is still occurring. I will try to figure out if
it really has to do with the java() calls or if it could be caused by some
other issue.

Best regards,

Adrián

Hello Goran,

I looked through the documentation but I couldn't find those methods :(.
Where can I find that information? Could you please tell me what the
syntax of those calls is?

Thank you very much in advance and for your quick response!

Hello Goran,

Thank you very much for your help!

However I found that the bug is still happening without making any java()
calls. It seems that the memory leak happens every time I fire a M2M
transformation.

Since the only difference between M2M and M2T transformations are the
"new" calls my guess is that the problem could be located there. I'll try
to further investigate the issue.

Thanks again and best regards,

Adrian
