Your question was not very clear. Are you trying to run a Java application with SWT controls, or are you trying to build a plug-in ?

If you to run as a Java application, with SWT controls, you may simply choose the option:
Run -> Run As SWT Application

If you build a plug-in, you need to have the dependent plug-ins included.

Maybe your version of the SWT SDK zip is corrupt ... can you see all of
the files if you unzip it? Does the zip itself have errors in it?

I was using the linux version just the other day, and it really was as
simple as downloading the zip and doing Import>Existing projects into
Workspace and selecting import from archive.
