Hi,

some (long) time ago I posted a message (on the ATL mailing list) about
a problem I had with inter-model references.
Depending on the names of the models declared in the transformation,
inter-model connection worked -- or didn't. I figured out that the
names of the models had to chosen in an appropriate alphabetical order.
Freddy Allilaire opened a bug report about that issue
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=136107). This bug report
has still status "NEW". I'm not sure about the status of the bugs after
ATL was moved from the GMT project to M2M. Is it still open? Is there a
new bug?

I've run into this bug again since I'm developing some ATL
transformations (again) with inter-model connections. This time I'm
starting ATL programmatically; I've adapted Denis Wagelaars ATL command
line tool
( http://ssel.vub.ac.be/svn-gen/UML1CaseStudies/uml1cs-atlcomm andline/src/org/atl/commandline/Main.java).
So maybe the bug is fixed, but I've implemented the old bug in my code?
But as far as I see it, the command line tool just as
AtlLaunchConfigurationDelegate are using maps to pass all the input
parameters, so I doubt that this will cause the bug...

The funny thing is: The bug occurs only with JDK 1.5, when using JDK
1.6 it's running. Maybe I should add this information to the bug report
(if it's still active)?

Jens

I've looked at the bug report and added a comment...

Yes, please do that. Even if the bug is not "actively" worked on at the
moment, the bugzilla is a good "log" of what goes on:
- does the reporter still suffer from the bug?
- can the bug be reproduced?
- do other people suffer from the bug?
