I am interested in using SWT's browser but I need it to be across the
following platforms:
- Windows, Solaris (Sparc), HPUX
It seems that only Windows is supported from this set. Why isn't Solaris
or HPUX supported? Is there a technical problem? Are there any plans for
those platforms?

Thanks,

Tom

From the SWT FAQ:

Which platforms are supported by the SWT Browser?
A: The SWT Browser is currently available on the following platforms:

1.. Windows (Internet Explorer 5 or above)
2.. Mac (Panther OS X.3 or above. Safari based)
3.. Linux GTK and Linux Motif (both using Mozilla 1.4 GTK2 - or above 1.4)
The following Linux distributions meet the Mozilla requirements for using
the Browser widget:
a.. RedHat Enterprise Linux 3
b.. Suse 9
Other Linux distributions require a supported version of Mozilla to be
installed. See instructions
4.. Photon

For the Browser to be supported what is required is a version of Mozilla
built against GTK.
