When i upgraded to the last version of PDT, the code formatter not works for
me. The code looks like "Torre di Pisa" after Shift+Ctrl+F. Is this a bug?

Hi,

It seems like PDT doen't include any advanced formating settings.
For the moment you can just make the 'Tabs' become 'Spaces'.

I seriuosly hope for an improuvment for this.

Is there any work to have formatting settings similar to ZendNeon or
PHPEclipse. I am currently working out which technology is best for me
to work with. PDT with formatting options is a must for me.

Is there any release information on when to expect this (if at all?)

Thankyou.

Matt.

Likewise, very surprised to find that PDT seems to lack any kind of
automatic formatting. Downloaded the "All-in-one" PDT on Ubuntu.

All seems to work fine, except "Format Source" menu entry will just shift
each line to the left margin. Duplicated this with the example shown under
"Formatting Code" in the program help, so presumably this is a bug of some
kind. The documented example is a PHP snippet, too.

What's up?

I could manage to improve the code-formatting a little bit by installing the
Subclipse plugin ( http://subclipse.tigris.org/install.html ). However
there still aren't any advanced formatting features we all would love to
have!

Cheers, Christoph
