Is there a limit on the text in HTMLTransfer?

When I copy out the table items (selected columns) into a HTMLTransfer
type (I am creating a html table) - and paste it on a netscape mail
window - I get the html table fine till the number of characters are
between around 1900 or so - after that it does not paste the table
contents -

The same data goes ok when used as a TextTransfer.

Anybody face such a issue?

This sounds like a bug. You might want to report it at http://bugs.eclipse.org (free registration required). It would be useful if you could also put a sample of code that exhibits the problem as well in the bug report.
