Hi,

I used the "fake tooltip" as presented in snippet 125, and was quite
happy with it.

I now have a customer that uses WinXP pro SP2 and has the problem that
the faked tooltip is always shown (almost no delay time after a mouse
stop - and even during movement it pops up).
Just to avoid any misunderstandings: this is a single case only, many
other customers experience the right tooltip behavior.

The faked tooltip uses the mouse hover event, that seems to be fired too
often, and I read that the mouse hover delay time is OS specific.

Is there any way to avoid too short hover delay times?
How can I change the delay time?

Thanks,
Lorenz
