Hi,

Our RCP-project has found that if we have Swing-components open
integrated using SWT_AWT, we are not able to input anything in editors of
Text-widgets unless we minimize/maximize the screen. After the min/max procedure
everything works as it should. On windows we don't experience the problem
at all, only on Linux.

What could be the reason for this? What changes when I minimize and
then maximize the windows again? If this is a known bug for the SWT_AWT on
linux, maybe there exists a workaround?

Cheers,

.../Ola

I haven't heard of this problem. Please open a bug report at
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/ against Eclipse Platform SWT. Include a
little SWT_AWT example that demonstrates the problem.

Later,
PW
