New widgets in 3.1? [message #448532] Tue, 11 January 2005 17:28 Go to next message

I've noticed two new widget-like components in Eclipse 3.1 M4:
1) A 'hyperlink label'
2) A tree of expandable labels

Both of these are in evidence on the Java -> Editor preferences page.

Anyone know if these are 'public' SWT (or JFace) widgets?

I believe the hyperlink widget is currently in the forms plugin. I =
believe the SWT team is planning on a SWT only hyperlink widget. At =
least it was in the 3.1 plan at one point. =20

Could someone from the SWT team comment on whether a hyperlink widget is =
coming in 3.1?

Thanks,
-Chris
