<font face="serif">Is there any planned development from anyone to
write a wrapper API following the SWT specification to the Cocoa Java
Apple API? SWT's current implementation on OS X has certain inherent
problems, such as the busy indicator, combo widgets, main thread
control, and a certain, non-native feel that's difficult to pin-point
but bugs the heck out of me. I would be willing to contribute quite a
bit of time to such a project were one to exist. I acknowledge the
reasons for choosing carbon over cocoa in the main distribution. I
also maintain that, while there would be odd errors and difficult
debugging during development, I believe that it would be very possible
to create such an API. As an example, look at SwingWT
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://swingwt.sourceforge.net">http://swingwt.sourceforge.net</a>): an API for wrapping one high level
gui API to another high level gui API.<br>
