Personally, I find "SWT: The Standard Widget Toolkit, Volume I" from
Steve Northover and Mike Wilson pretty good.
Although it's "only" about SWT (not JFace), and doesn't cover some
topics like Drag&Drop and OLE, it gives you a fairly deep understanding
of all concepts of SWT.
Additionally I find it's written very well and also points out
interesting implementation details and design considerations.
After all, it's written by two of the lead designers of SWT (you'll
probably see them in this group quite often); so it comes "straight from
the source" - in every possible meaning ;-)
