Hi,

Can anyone point me to the source code that creates the UI for the
progress view items? [1] I can't for the life of me figure out where to
look.

I know there is a Jobs API [2] but I want to recreate a similar UI in my
own, standalone SWT application, which does not rely on JFace or the RCP
framework.

Take a look at NewProgressViewer and associates.
