Gtk and GLContext question. [message #445730] Wed, 10 November 2004 05:07 Go to next message

Hello,

I thought I would try this newgroup to see if I could find any info
about the GLContext issue as well and it looks like it is a common
problem. However, as is noted in this thread, the gtk stuff has been
removed from cvs.

At this point I am kinda of stuck until the code reappears in cvs. ;-)

Mr Grant, I realize that the gtk stuff isn't high on the list but would
you happen to know when the code may reappear?

For now I am just hobbling along with the stale code I got before it was
removed and it appears I need to make some sort of classpath entry
modification to fix the GLContext issue.

Would it be as simple as me modifying my stale gtk library with the
correct plugin.xml entries and .classpath entries?

-Will

Hi Will,

The code never really disappeared from CVS, but the libraries did. I've
rebuilt and released them, and updated some details of the gtk opengl plugin
to match the win32 and motif ones. (It has one limitation in that font
support is not implemented).

I've also packaged it up and added it to
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/plat form-swt-home/opengl/opengl.html
for easy access.

Grant
